Couples Therapy
Relationships are complex, and every couple faces challenges that can create distance, misunderstandings, and disconnection. In our work together, we explore the deeper patterns that shape your relationship, identifying what strengthens your bond and what may be keeping you stuck. Through a collaborative and trust-based therapeutic process, we work to improve communication, rebuild intimacy, and foster a deeper emotional connection.
Together, we use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to identify and shift negative interaction cycles, creating a sense of security and closeness. Drawing from Virginia Satir’s approach, we explore how past relationships and family dynamics influence the way you engage with each other, helping you build self-awareness and connection. Using Solution-Focused Therapy, we focus on your strengths, creating practical, achievable steps toward lasting change. Through Narrative Therapy, we reframe limiting relationship stories and co-create a new, more fulfilling path forward.
Through experiential exercises, guided conversations, and a safe, supportive space, we uncover new ways of relating, helping you and your partner cultivate a relationship rooted in trust, growth, and deeper intimacy. You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone—we’ll work together to build a stronger, more connected partnership.
Family Therapy
Families are deeply influenced by culture, generational patterns, and the unspoken dynamics passed down over time. Whether navigating conflict, life transitions, or long-standing patterns of disconnection, our work together helps families build stronger, more balanced, and supportive relationships. We recognize that cultural values, traditions, and intergenerational experiences shape how family members relate to one another, communicate, and express love and support. By exploring these influences with care and respect, we create space for healing and meaningful change.
Using Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), we examine emotional patterns that create distance, fostering trust, safety, and open communication. Virginia Satir’s approach helps us explore inherited family roles, belief systems, and unspoken expectations, creating space for each member to express themselves authentically. Structural Family Therapy allows us to adjust relational boundaries and family hierarchies, ensuring that every voice is heard while strengthening family cohesion. With Play Therapy, younger children can process emotions in a way that feels natural and developmentally appropriate, helping them express their needs and build secure relationships within the family.
We also acknowledge the impact of generational narratives and cultural expectations—how the beliefs and survival strategies of past generations influence the present. Some patterns, while once protective, may no longer serve the family’s needs today. Together, we explore how to honor cultural values while fostering growth, adaptability, and deeper connection.
Through experiential work, active restructuring, and guided conversations, we help families break free from unhealthy cycles, repair relational wounds, and create a foundation where each member feels valued, heard, and supported. Whether addressing cross-generational expectations, shifting family roles, or deepening understanding between parents and children, we work together to strengthen family bonds while honoring the traditions, histories, and cultural influences that matter most.
Child & Adolescent Therapy
In my work with children and adolescence, I prioritize creating an emotionally safe and nurturing space for them to explore their emotions, develop a stronger sense of self, and navigate the challenges of growing up. I recognize that children and teens express themselves in different ways—while younger children may communicate through play and creativity, adolescents often process their world through deeper conversations, identity exploration, and relationships. My approach meets them where they are, using age-appropriate techniques to help them feel seen, heard, and understood.
For children under 12, we incorporate techniques that are grounded in play and art therapy, allowing them to express emotions and experiences in ways that feel natural and accessible. Through storytelling, creative expression, and interactive play, we help children process big feelings, build emotional regulation skills, and strengthen their sense of security in the world around them.
With adolescents, we take a relational and experiential approach, providing space for them to explore their emotions, identity, and relationships in a way that feels safe and non-judgmental. Using expressive arts, narrative work, and guided conversations, we help teens navigate anxiety, self-esteem, peer relationships, family dynamics, and life transitions.
Whether working with children or adolescents, my goal is to foster resilience, self-understanding, and healthy connections with family and peers. By creating a space where they can safely express themselves and process their experiences, we empower young people to grow with confidence, clarity, and emotional well-being.
Individual Therapy
Life can be overwhelming, and navigating personal challenges alone often feels daunting. Individual therapy offers a space where adults can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a safe, supportive environment. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, I help individuals gain deeper self-awareness, break free from limiting patterns, and cultivate a more fulfilling and authentic life.
Together, we’ll explore how past experiences and relationships shape your current worldview and behaviors, empowering you to rewrite old narratives and embrace new possibilities. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or navigating life transitions, I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet your unique needs and goals. Incorporating a range of techniques—from mindfulness and cognitive exploration to experiential exercises—I help you build resilience, enhance emotional well-being, and develop healthier coping strategies.
Therapy is a journey of self-discovery and growth, and I am here to walk alongside you, providing insight, support, and tools to help you create meaningful and lasting change. Let’s work together to uncover your inner strengths and craft the life you truly want.
